PFIA 1 is a simple measuring device used with a chord line for the determination of versines. The measuring set-up is especially suitable for measurement and verification of versines during track re-alignment in the track.
PFIA 1 enables the versine measurement inside and outside of a curved track. It is suitable for all kind of tracks and switches with rail foot size from 125 up to 150 mm. Convenient: the versines can be measured during the tampering of tracks without removing the measuring device from the rail.
Versine measurement on the outer rail of the curve
The measuring device is claped to the rail foot with ist own clampler. Chords up to 80 m may be set out, while versines up tp 800 mm can be measured by the user. PFIA 1 is obstructionless and therefore can be clamped to the rail even during train operation.
