RV 21 is specially developed to check the analogue and digital switch gauge and cant measuring devices of Vogel & Plötscher in order to maintain the quality of the measurements at a consistently high level.
The RV 21 template is designed for the models MessReg PTP, RCAD and the R series. The gauge is used to determine the metrological deviations of the test parameters (track gauge, flangeway clearance, check rail gauge, back-to-back distance and cant). With appropriate qualification, authorization and special instruction, RV 21 is also suitable for calibration tasks.
