Measuring bars for versines “Wuppertal method”

These measuring bars are an approved measuring device for measuring versines. Consisting of two end bars and one middle bar, the versine is determined using a chord and read off a measuring scale.

Approved by Deutsche Bahn (DB).

The end bars have a mounted slider by which a setpoint is fixed at the chord end. The chord is inserted in the groove provided and tightened. The respective measuring value is read off the measuring scale of the center bar. All bars are made of wearless T-section aluminum with scratch proofed, printed scales. Therefore, the measuring device is both easy to transport, and has got a long lifetime.

The measuring device consists of 2 end bars (scaling ± 200 mm) and one center bar (scaling ± 700 mm).
