RMF 1100 is the approved rail longitudinal profile measuring system for the checking and the acceptance of reprofiling work such as grinding or milling of rails, in accordance with the applicable regulations. The check is performed continuously and simultaneously on the left and right rails.
Data capture is performed on the basis of our unique RMF measuring principle, which has been internationally proven and recognized for decades. The primary profile of the rail surface is recorded at intervals of 2 mm by special measuring pins. The primary profile is of central importance as it is the objective and verifiable basis for the evaluation of the longitudinal profile. The raw data of the primary profile are captured digital and are displayed at the outdoor notebook “MPC” in real-time.
The optional evaluation software RMviewer enables a professional data processing including a graphical evaluation and a measurement report according to different bases of evaluation. Customer-specific measurement reports and evaluations can be embedded into the software on request.
