The SKM is the smart and proven solution for easy checking of the rail height and the wear of the running edge on exposed Vignoles rails. By default, the measuring device is provided for the 60E2, 54E4 and 49E5 rail profiles. More profiles and their combinations are available on request.
There are two versions of SKM having the same basic design and identical handling. While SKM 1 determines the wear of the running edge at an angle of 45°, SKM 2 is featured with two more lateral measuring styli at angles of 22,5° and 67,5°.
Easy operation
Its compact design supports the practical use and easy transport of SKM.
After placing SKM at the rail foot using magnets, the measurement styli are moved to the rail head. The measuring values can be read off the scales.
