TDS 172FA guarantees a remarkable leap in performance compared to the two smaller variants, while still impressing with its compact design. Its versatile applications include the use as a generator for hybrid applications or as a powerful drive for oil pumps in hydraulic applications. Its use in wrenching machines for track building is especially.
The 172 motor is a power pack with two stators, low moment of inertia and, like all Vogel & Plötscher motors, available in a wide range of variants. TDS 172FA impresses with its high power density and low moment of inertia for rapid acceleration. It addition, smooth running at low speeds is ensured.
Optional gears enable the perfect adjustment of the motors to the given conditions.
All motors are suitable as a generator and support recuperation. They have an integrated encoder and temperature sensor. Optionally, the motors are available with a holding brake and a suitable motor controller.
By the way: we produce the stator cores for our axial flux motors on our own winding and punching machines.
